The Behypnotherapy 3 Session Exam Cooler

Exam time can be a really intense and stressful time for young people and lots of us feel overwhelmed and anxious in the build up to our exams. The pressure can come from all sorts of well intended directions, our parents, our schools and colleges, social media, government, our peers and of course ourselves. If you or a Young Person in your family / care is feeling like this, you are certainly not alone. 

We all know that a little stress at important times can be motivating and help us achieve our best but when the feelings of stress become very strong they can do the opposite and have a negative impact.

One of the things hypnotherapy can do best is help people feel calmer and manage their stronger, sometimes overwhelming emotions.

In recognition of all of this I have developed a programme to specifically support Young People who are preparing for exams. 

If you, as a Young Person would like support to feel calmer, more focused and get things back into perspective please have a look at my 3-session hypnotherapy programme, as set out below.

This is not another set of lessons, tests or things to add to your To Do List.  They are a positive, enjoyable and helpful way to feel calmer and allow the conscious mind to be in charge.

The three sessions are structured as follows but can be tailored to your individual needs or that of a small group:

Session 1 (2 hours) 

This should take place about 4-6 weeks before exams start. During this session we:

  • explain what happens in the body and mind when a situation like exams starts to make us worry
  • talk through why we can inadvertently make things worse
  • show you how to feel calmer, more focused and more in control
  • help you decide on the things you can do to help over the remaining weeks
  • give you a free self hypnosis audio to listen to regularly throughout the exam period
  • give you a deeply calming hypnotic experience using my Calm Confidence Boost (Guided Relaxation)

Session 2 (1 hour)

This should take place a few days or a week before exams start. During the session we help you:

  • focus on what is going well, what you are proud of (however small)
  • appreciate your strengths, resources and wonderful qualities
  • envision success and a positive future
  • feel deeply calm and motivated using my Taming the Wild Me (Guided Relaxation)

Session 3 (1 hour)

This session can take place during exams and we focus on:

  • helping you decompress and come back down to calm
  • filling the subconscious with praise and pride about what you are managing
  • positively looking ahead
  • feeling happy and open about the future using a my I know who I am (Guided relaxation)

To support local Young People I am offering the 3 sessions ( 4 hours in total) for a reduced fee (£150).
